Background
She and her younger twin sister, Sakuya, were born five minutes apart to an upper-middle class family. In 2nd grade, they were enrolled in Mini-Basketball by their father who was a fan of the sport. Fortunately, they enjoyed it. In high school, Misora attended Jūban High school and befriended Tora Kagami and Yua Sumeragi. She had feelings for Tora but after learning the Tora and Yua liked each other, she pushed aside her feelings for their happiness. Before she became a high school teacher and basketball coach at Jūban High, Misora was a successful youth basketball player that she even made it as far as a regular on the national Japanese women’s basketball team. She was the power forward. She was acquainted with the national male team.
Relationships
Family
father, Sakuya (younger twin sister)
Sakuya Toki
Misora and Sakuya were born as fraternal twins and five minutes apart. Although one can tell they are related, their differences in eye colors and complexions set them apart. They have been inseparable, even going as far as to be on the national Japanese women’s basketball team together. After they both retired from being athletes, they both decided to become high school teachers and coaches. Misora wanted to teach at her old high school, Jūban High, while Sakura decided to teach at a different school. Despite finally allowing themselves to grow as people in their later adult years, they keep in contact and maintain a friendly relationship as sisters and as coaches of rival teams.
Friends
Yua Sumeragi
Although her friend was from a wealthy family, she chose to go to an average high school to gain new perspectives. Yua was somewhat rebellious towards her family and rather open-minded about who she interacted with and Misora liked the fact that she followed her heart no matter what. Misora admired that Yua was beautiful and elegant. When she learned that Yua liked their mutual friend and classmate, Tora, she could only casually agree with any compliments Yua had for him when Yua talked about him with her. She thought to herself that their friends looked good together and that Yua would be better for Tora than she ever could. She was Yua’s bridesmaid at her private wedding to Tora.
Rivals
Despite once being on the Japanese national women's basketball team together, she and her former teammates now coach rival teams.
Love Interests
Tora Kagami
Since the year she and Tora attended Jūban High together, the school had a practice of having the boys’ and girls’ teams practice together which she continued today with her male counterpart. She and Tora were both power forwards which allowed them to face one another and her to feel that he was more than just a friend. Because her name is Misora and she coincidentally likes miso ramen, he playfully nicknamed her “Miso-chan” much to her annoyance. They had a mutual love of basketball and she thought she understood him the most and vice versa. However, after learning that her friends, Yua and Tora, both had feelings for one another, she thought that Yua would be better for him, and was the bridesmaid at their private wedding. After being able to reconnect with Tora digitally, he begins to reciprocate her feelings.
Her type of man is one who understands her the most.

Inspirations
Misora is a revamp of a discarded Blood+ original character who was a Chiropteran Queen named Selene with gray eyes with a younger twin with black eyes. I thought Asha Amir Del Pervaz would be a good faceclaim for Selene's revamp. The black hair, pale complexion, gray eyes, and having a younger twin sister with black eyes is the only things she has in common with Selene. Thanks to Rose and The Age of Arrogance for inspiring me to ship Misora with my interpretation of Taiga Kagami's father. Thanks to my coauthor cousin for helping me decide that she's from an upper middle class family and her age. She has some characteristics from her face claim, Asha Amir Del Pervaz. I put 5 minutes apart from her and her twin and made their birthday on the 25th as 5 is a lucky number for bats in Chinese culture. Her surname, Toki, is derived from the Japanese Toki clan.
