As of yesterday, April 10th, the bios for all Neptunian Guardians are completed! While I mentioned that all Neptunian Guardians can manipulate seawater and use weapons, I haven't described the extent of their abilities in summary so I shall do so now!

Only Sailor Naiad uses freshwater attacks, Sailor Halimede creates a blast or energy balls made of seawater, Sailor Sao can manipulate seawater in the shape of dolphins, Sailor Hippocamp can manipulate seawater in the shape of hippocampuses, Sailor Laomedeia can manipulate bubbles and sound, Sailor Larissa can make a round ocean barrier, Sailor Neso can make riptides, both Neptunus Knight and Sailor Neso can use maelstroms, both Sailor Triton and Sailor Hippocamp can attack with streams of ocean water, Neptunus Knight can create sea storms. Most can attack with ocean waves.

Both Sailor Triton and Neptunus Knight use tridents but Sailor Triton's Mighty Sea Trident can split into a sharp fan and a sword, Sailor Naiad and Sailor Hippocamp use swords / claymores, Sailor Halimede uses a mirror like Sailor Neptune aside from her tiara for attacking, Sailor Sao uses a flute shaped like a dolphin, Sailor Laomedeia uses a baton, Sailor Larissa and Sailor Neso uses spears. However, there's one more hero of Neptunian descent even if he isn't classified as a Neptunian Guardian. Nereus Knight will come up next so stay tuned...

This is not an April's Fools joke! I have successfully completed the Neptunian Moon Guardians! They're the largest of my Satellite Senshi groups so hopefully things will be relatively easier for oc senshi making moving forward. It's ironic because most of the Neptunian Moon Guardians are split between the Kuroko's Basketball schools of Kaijō and Shūtoku which are private schools and the first and second rival teams to appear in the show. According to this post, Kaijō means "ever by the sea" which makes sense Neptunian Moon Senshi would go to school there and Kanagawa is a prefecture known for the ocean. Shūtoku means "virtue of excellence" and their school logo involves the pen. While Sailor Halimede and Sailor Sao who go to school there don't have transformation pens, they're both intelligent, proper Sailor Senshi with their own virtues in their Sailor Guardian titles "counsel" and "liberation".

When it comes to the romance department, four of them are love interests of the Solar System Celestial Knights and Sailor Halimede is the love interest of Nereus Knight, an Apollo Knight. Sailor Hippocamp is the love interest of Prince Apollon, the charge of the Solar System Celestial Knights. Sailor Thalassa and Sailor Neso are in love with civilians from different sports anime: Kuroko's Basketball and The Prince of Tennis. Hopefully Yue aka Sailor Triton will have a love interest too... But then again, it isn't surprising that so many of them have love interests because they're beautiful ladies, a number of them being statuesque, and even their element, the sea is a thing of beauty! As a fellow water sign who's imagined being a mermaid when she was little and often goes to the beach on vacation, I guess I can't resist the appeal of Team Neptunian Moon! They're all great singers and some have musical talents: Sailor Triton plays the pipa (thanks Call Me Emperor for giving Mi Yue the pipa player skin!) Sailor Halimede plays the cello, Sailor Thalassa plays the harp, Sailor Laomedeia plays the piano, and Sailor Sao plays a dolphin flute to perform powers. Some of them are great dancers too or at least enjoys dancing: Sailor Triton knows how to fan dance (in my headcanon), Sailor Neso loves dancing, Sailor Thalassa knows how to ballroom dance, and Sailor Sao knows how to dance.

Even though not all of them are 16 and older, they all transform with Gloss Rods and share the same transformation theme.

The 9 fan senshi that are posted are relevant to the plots of Senshi no Basuke and Solar System Celestial Knights. I was hoping to complete all of Neptune's 14 moons but sighs I guess you can't have it all! Hopefully, one day, I can affiliate with a fan senshi page that has a Sailor Despina, Sailor Galatea, Sailor Proteus / Proteus Knight, Sailor Nereid, and Sailor Psamathe to ease the regret. Maybe they're even crossover flavored. Who knows, I can only try to manifest it into existence.

Now all that's left to complete the Neptunian Guardians page is Neptunus Knight's bio so stay tuned...

It's March Madness which is when college men's and women's basketball matches are held in the middle of March all the way to the start of April. Ironically, even though Pisces season is over, I'm still working on my Neptunian Moon Senshi since March is a season equated with Pisces. For the Neptunian Moon Senshi, their Gloss Rods have a clamshell at the top since that is something we associate with the sea, aside from that, I had an iridescent bubble because I just love bubbles and had it to contain Neptune's mirror since the Jovian Moon Senshi have roses in their back bow charms and in their transformation items. The rest of the rod is quite similar to the Outer Senshi's lip rods. For the Plutonian Moon Senshi, I thought of Pluto's heart and I am a sucker for hearts. And of course, to go with the theme, Sailor Pluto's Garnet Rod is right below the round heart. The rest of the rod is quite similar to the Outer Senshi's lip rods except the color of the ball at the end depends on the weapon of the Plutonian Moon Senshi.
